    Comme des Garcons C&C Welcome

The first image is the original image, the second is a tight crop. Does either work?

Both work fine as street photography, first more so than the second. I would have cropped the central portion of the image retaining the shape of the wall display, cropping just below or above the knees of the spectators.

Thanks John. I've tried various crops and the best I could come up with (that looked good to me) was the one here. Beyond that I'd stay with the original, though I'm not really crazy about it as is. I probably have hung around a bit and looked for a better shot.

Both looked good to me, Jack, though I prefer the tight crop better...I agree...you should had hang out a little bit longer. I do not like the cars up front..

The first one doesn't quite work for me: the parked car (boring object) occupies too much of the frame.

The second is better although there is strong competition for my attention between the woman on the left and the face in the poster.

What was your intention when you took the shot, Jack?

Isabel, I agree, the cars do ruin the shot. I'll have to try and revisit and see what I can get.

It was a quick shot, the whole facade caught my attention. There was something about the womn, the silhouette and the poster face that seemed to work. I don't know if it does or not but I liked the strange juxtaposition of the three.
