    An unusual...

    ...cloud formation illumined in the twilight, Thiruvananthapuram Beach, Kerala, 24th December, 2013

    I was just leaving after clicking Sunset shots...then i just turned back to see this awesome clouds; i was thrilled; i just had to make some adjustments; no other edits

    Please give your suggestions

    Nandakumar,

    Skies that this are always amazing. For some odd reason (perhaps the bit of bare sky at the top) my mind reads this image as upside down. With no horizon to ground this image it floats kind of abstractly and begs to be deciphered. In other words, my mind is confused. Is there another shot with some horizon?

    Why, even i felt it will be more pleasing to post it inverted...then i thought, that is not proper to do...it was towards the horizon the clouds were more scattered or disorganized; let me check for another

    I like this one best. all the water wont run to one side of the image this way.
