Nice Nandakumar!
This might be my favorite photo of yours but I feel that it needs more output sharpening. Also consider applying Local Contrast Enhancement to the most detailed areas in the center (sorry, but I don't know the names of the various parts of that area of the flower).
Very nice! Good DoF and focus.
My only wish would be that there was just a tad more room on the left hand side.

Yes, very nice. I adore the composition, depth of field and rich colour against the dark background.
Good capture. But have you changed the pink much ? It seems the wrong 'tone' compared to the red - which in a roundabout way is probably what Mike is getting at too ?
Very nice. Mainly, I like that the image "takes us into" the blossom, rather than showing the whole thing, and this takes it well beyond "just a picture of a flower". I think the composition is very effective too: eccentric, yet balanced.
This is a good point. It raises the problem of extraordinary color (in any sort of subject, but flowers and sunsets/sunrises are chief among these) in that what strikes us as asking to be captured often strains credulity in the final image. If we see unbelievable color, and capture it, we then have the problem of an image whose color is hard to believe. Not sure of the way out of this one.
I like the image no. 4 best.
Thank you very much James
A few more...these images are from my garden... shot either in the morning or after night fall

This was shot today, two hours before; it is 11 pm, here now

I shot this image in dark, using inbuilt flash and preventing direct impact light on flower using my fore finger; the result was the change of color from pink to red......

I think the first image is the best one. If it were me I'd darken up the background between the petals on the RHS, so that flower stands out more evenly.
