    If I had as good an image as you have here I would spend the time to finish the job in editing ... removing the light spots is a simple clone job ... selecting very loosely the insect and after inverting the selection blurring just a touch ... there are also some areas with are to light as the strip on the left and most importantly behind and below the hind quarters which when light glares somewhat and destroys the detail in the adjacent rear body .... finally a slight sharpening which may be a mistake as it brings uop a highlight ridge.

    Nit picking for sure but I would hope I would do it for my shot if it was ... a nice one here

    Nit picking is good. I agree with most of your picks but the light in the hindquarter area is needed to match the rest of the picture. That's where the sun was coming from.

    Reality is only there as a guide for the photographer to regard or dis-regard In this case it spoils the picture.
