    Works beautifully.

    The aspect ratio just suits the image perfectly. I like that the horizon line is well up the frame. I think that gives the water body (is it a lake?) a great sense of scale. It feels BIG. And the control of the light is gorgeous. It would have been easy to go for the whole width being filled by that highlight on the water, but the fact that there is a gradation into the highlight from the left-hand side, makes it all the more powerful.

    That's what I think!

    Taken off the south end of Point Roberts USA. It is the sea, or actually the Strait of Georgia, looking southeast with the Cascade Mountains on the horizon
