Calm before the Storm

I was out this morning just as the sun was coming up and was mesmerized by the colors in the sky. With a weather forecast of 8-12" of fresh snow tomorrow and bone chilling temps in the sub-zero range Monday & Tuesday this must be the "Calm before the storm".

Nice shot!...no nits here...IT IS a beautiful sky...our forecast will start with the snow storm here with 6-12" of snow and two days of brrrrrrrrr..........cold too. The kids (doggies) will be happy tomorrow if it eventuate. They originally came from North Dakota and love snow...

Thanks Dave. I too prefer the 2nd shot with the low angle showing some grass poking through the existing snow in the foreground (I don't think we will be able to see any grass by the end of the day tomorrow)
