    Seagull flying against blue sky

Hi. This lonely seagull passed closed to me, as I was walking on some coast rocks with my father this afternoon. I liked the blue sky she was flying against. C&C welcomed, as always. Thanks for viewing. Regards,

Nice capture...maybe you can do something about the top part of the bird that are overexposed a little?

Hi, Isabel. Thanks for viewing and commenting. According to PS CS5 Histogram, exposure was good (no signs of clipping the whites), but I will double check it, to be sure.

    Thanks and regards,

If you use LR you could decrease the highlights a bit...would be a printable shot.

Exposure looks fine but the whites will blow out if viewed on a monitor with the brightness set a little high - it may pay to leave a bit of insurance by reducing the white slightly. My main concern is that there seems to be a little camera movement that has synchronised with the movement of the nearest wing. You may need to increase the shutter speed a bit. It maybe focus but my pick is movement.

Do you have Focus Magic? Get the trial if not and work on the softness as well as blownout whites.

I agree, Otavio, it looks like you had a bit of camera shake going on. Nice position on the bird, whites look just before blowing on my monitor. But as said giving yourself a bit of room if possible wouldn't hurt. That is a seriously blue sky.
