Nice. Good expression. But I wonder if you've made the most of it? I wonder what you have for post-processing? this could be brightened a little, I think, and have a little contrast added (mainly locally on your subject). He (she?) is OK centered but there may be some ways to add interest with a slightly different crop, putting the subject wee bit lower and more left. I think the bird is sharp, at least the back half. The upper back may just look "soft" because that's its appearance and I can't tell about the head, either. Some sharpening would probably be helpful.
If you have post processed -so be it. If not, you might invite viewers to do some PP for you to see what can be brought out of this nice capture.
Hi Mark
The whole photography is really new too me. The post-processing is something I will have to do my homework on .
Thank you for the input . It will be very helpful thank again.
Yes, I think you could increase the saturation slightly. There are many ways of achieving this.
Possibly a little bit of Local Contrast Enhancement might be worth trying.
And I would certainly crop differently. Possibly with a different size ratio; chiefly to reduce some of the distracting background on the sides.
