There is no shame at my house

These were difficult shots to take...first I had to buy some bird seed, then put it in clay pots right outside my patio sliding door, set up my camera, brew some coffee, then wait for the little suckers to show up...such a chore. Used a 300mm lens with a 2X TC...the squirrel required a photo-merge series.
Ya gotta click on it to see the tail.

Lemme see. Putting out bird seed is cheating when buying a hummingbird feeder is being creative? I think not. You should only be criticized if you were smirking about your ingenuity while drinking the hot coffee.

Nice close-ups Chauncey! From time to time a little ingenuity and logic doesn't hurt either!

That squirrel image measures 40" long...don't quite know what to do with it.

Nice. Scary sharp. Makes me think telextenders may be OK after all.
Weren't you tempted to rub out the snow flake streak on birdie's neck?

I suppose this not the thread to admit for Christmas as well as a GPS I arranged to receive a wireless remote interval timer to help me do photography from the comfort of a chair with a beer in hand....

I do like both of your photographs and as we do not get squirrels here I will just accept that it is 40" and required panoramic stitching of multiple shots. Anything is fair in love, war or photography.
