    Hi Brian,

I think the focus is pretty good. I do like the colours and especially the background because it is simple (not overly busy), shows beautiful colours. I also like the geometric lines of the greenery.

And I am getting better you didn't notice (or were too polite to mention) where I cloned to remove some distractions.

    Hi Brian,

Indeed you are and I think your macro photography skills are coming along beautifuly. However, I have noted that you are still posting a few images here and there with some wildly busy backgrounds.

Yes, I noticed but I like this background because it is pretty and it sets off the bug nicely.

Perhaps far easier than cloning would be to do some gardening (gentle) around your critters. ie; keep a pair of scissors handy to snip away dead branches, and other leaves and things in the way, and perhaps even a little brush to brush away cobwebs, etc. Gently of course so you don't scare the little critters away. And even if you scare them away sometimes they come back, especially if you sweeten the leaves of your photo studio... Just an idea.

One of these days I will put up a 'selfie'. Last time I got my hair cut i got a military brush cut. I now have a pony tail about 8 inches long. I trim my beard when it gets about a foot long and my mustaches when they get more food then my mouth does.

Indeed, I'm looking forward to viewing your selfie especially one with a nice, clean beautiful background that lets your character and unique beauty stand out
