We see everything around, but never see our own faces (directly) until we die....

Sweet bird capture, Nandakumar, and the seed pod image is very seasonal and appealing to me.
Your wisdom here is so true. Yesterday my DIL came to mind. I looked at the time and it was just about 7:30am over there in Australia. I knew she will be awake and taking care of everything before they all head out of the door to take Anika to creche and them to go to work. Having found how to compose an email on my new phone, I wrote to say Good Morning and Have a good time at work. Then I said I love her, that she is doing a good job with my son and my granddaughter and that she must remember that I love her always. We had a little texting chat while she was on her way to work. It made my day. I feel so much love for her. I seriously think that every now and then we should not take our loves ones for granted. We must tell them we love them, no matter what time of the day or night it is...
Your saying here is true too...during the summer in Oz there are some bushfires here and there, some due to the heat, some, unfortunately, man-made not by accident. Australia is eucalyptus country and eucalyptus trees doesn't really die as a few weeks later, there will be many more to replace them burnt ones. I delight in taking pictures of them in the past. The growth is enormous. Awe-inspiring when you know how the circle of life of a eucalyptus tree grows...and decomposed...and then grow baby ones again...
Thank you very much, John :)
Thank you very much, Izzie; it is very true that we must express our feelings at appropriate times :)
Janis, thank you so much for your kind words :)
