Binnur, thank you very much. The state of Kerala, where i reside, gets its name from Kera = coconut palm. There will be hardly any place here where you don't see a coconut tree around. Scrubbed coconut is an essential part of Malayalee's diet. Almost all curries from South India essentially involve coconut paste. Any how the this image was from our neighbouring state, Karnataka. Coconut culture is now all over south India :)
