A good choice of image to represent alertness in no.723. Birds are nearly impossible to approach without being discovered. And and excellent image of a bird also. Such eyes and good feather detail.

Thank you very much, Dan. We have some lovebirds, two rabbits and one guinea pig in a cage. This bird( falcon?) came to watch them; this is the second time i saw it. I saw it though window and captured this through window. I used Nikon900,with 83X optical zoom ; the bird is not as big as it appears to be

Scape 720 -- So true. I wish I have the luxury of doing nothing but I get bored easily. Love that shot. It sort of like looking at it in person in that same time of the day. Good capture, mate!

723 -- I like the isolative look of the bird there...
724 -- just enough light to really see what these birds are up to. I wish I have long legs too -- unfortunately...nevermind. Anyway, the image accompanying this is very pretty.
