Thank you very much Joe; this one is seen in mostly off-urban places; i wonder why it always prefer to sit on dried logs and leaves rather than on flowers and leaves; further it is very keen to come back to sit on the same log

Even in a most common thing there can be some uncommon aspect to learn...
Yes, like ID-ing them......and to ID an insect, you have to research a better and quick way as the sameness can be mistaken for the same variety. Even in bugs or insects, similarities abound on the same class. I stopped following them just for photographing as they flit faster than I can run after them. I cannot afford another fall at this stage of my life. Nice one though and I like the colour.

Yes...so true. And I love the composition of this one too.

Err....ahhh....not from me. I just zapped two flies that came inside my door yesterday and Bill squashed the other three. They seem to multiply each time you zapped them dead, there is another one sort of thing. This is the only I do not like in muggy days and summer. But then I am only human...I will find a reason to complain, even if it is just a fly. NOT! In. My. Kitchen!!

Hey, nice shot by the way...I really love this one.

    Cheers,
    Izzie

Kinda like the freeloaders, eh? but you can't claim to support them in your taxes. I am sorry. I can't help myself there...Anyway, this is a very nice shot, very simple too. Beautiful.

O, sorry; John, i missed this comment; this one i captured from my house garden only; but i think the frequency of seeing such ones has diminished now a days due to increasing urbanization all around. In my child hood one of my hobby was to catch butterflies and such kind put within mosquito net for some time and then release them, not knowing i am taking away "years" of their lives!!!
