Scape.1168 - Observing the expanses-sky, ocean or landscapes- can relax mind.....
Hi Nandakumar - you have so many good statements with pictures to match - I can always find one to suit my day. This one especially does. During the early spring when I was a kid, I'd find a spot out of the wind but in the warm sunshine. Then I'd sprawl on the ground and watch the clouds go by in total relaxation and peace!

How the countless petals make one flower, the same way one's countless Karma(actions) make the person one is; man is but his actions.

1172, nicely captured and quoted. Just recently had a discussion with an artist who stated there is a debate about using black paint in oils; I asked "well what do you use when doing a black and white painting?". He didn't answer.

John, thank you very much; i was a bit busy with my teaching because these two months we have all the entrance examinations; June is the commencement of the Academic year here. Regarding black paint, it is the chemical combination that can absorb all the light falling upon it. So no light comes out of it and fall up on our retina. That is why we see that part of the painting/ photograph, black

Hi Nandakumar! I'm glad you are back and that school work has lessened!

#1172 - I learned something today when I read about black! Seems like I should have remembered it from science class...... Thanks for the explanation!
#1173's statement is excellent. I was taught that I'd never be handed more than I could actually handle even though I may have felt like I couldn't! Your statement is true and once again is thought provoking!
Love the pics too! Thank you!
