Has anyone here converted a digital image by matching the inverse of the image to the H&D curves of a given film? I've found some great results using curves from Provia, Polaroid T55, and other curves/data.
Just curiosity.

Could you please post some examples and explanation as to the effect you are getting here. I assume you are trying for more of a film look?
I'm sure there's an app for that, I don't remember the name. It might be one of the onOne products or DxO.
Actually, I've used the published curves of several films with some of my photos. I've found the look is quite close. I was just wondering if anyone else has tried this.
I like using the actually H&D curve data, then once that part is finished, if you really want, you can try to match it to the curves of a given paper. Paper cuurves are harder to find, though.
Here's one done as a Polaroid PN T-55 using first the negative curves, then the print curves from Polaroid, to match the look of a print from that film.
Newbie question - where do you get the curves data?
