Looking up...
From a day out playing with my new (to me) Tokina 12-24 (hung on the end of a Nikon D80 andshot at 15mm). So far I'm really enjoying this little lens. I've also been playing with Lightzone a bit as a Raw Editor, its a bit different to get used to but so far I think it is working out well. Any constructive c&c is appreciated!

Re: Looking up...
I like the shot! It gives an unusual view. Many people don't look up!
I did some similar shots looking up in Hong Kong with my 17-55mm f/2.8 IS lens at 21mm on my Canon 30D. I wish mine had clouds...

I had my trusty 12-24mm f/4 Tokina with me on that trip, but had left the lens in my hotel room. Every hotel I stayed in during my trip to China and Hong Kong had a programmable safe in the room. Handy for leaving valuables!

Like the shot too! A different feel to it when you look up and take a shot.

Just remember what goes up must come down....

Enjoy the new lens when pointing it in any direction.

I also use the Tokina 12-24 and just love it. I especially like that the clouds in the first image "connect" the two buildings in a pattern that looks very energetic, almost electric.

Very nice! Changing point of view is always fun!
