After the first set of images of the historical city of Ouro Preto, here are some night shots, taken during my visit to the city, last Christmas. #1 - Church of Saint Francis


#2 - Museum at the main plaza, with a Christmas tree

Love these ones too...I particularly love #2. I am confused about the last one. I was trying to find the side of the building because there are windows...

All stunning. Again the church is my favourite and I think it is even more beautiful in the evening light. I also like #4 a lot, although I'm not really sure why, perhaps just the beautiful light and detail, and the sense of exploring the streets beyond.

Hi, Richard. Thanks for your kind words. Regarding number 1, I just processed it pushing contrasts and clarity quite hard. Also, highlight and shadows tool contributed to this "painting" aspect.
