Interesting, I guess, but for some reason, the image of those tens of thousands of flashes going off at the climax of the half-time show floods into my consciousness.

Interesting, I guess, but for some reason, the image of those tens of thousands of flashes going off at the climax of the half-time show floods into my consciousness.

That's something show promoters will have to look into as technology gets sleeker and more stealthy. Of course, the general public needs to take a look at themselves as well, what is acceptable at some venues may not be at others. For instance, when listening to live music recordings, yelling and screaming audience members can kill a performance for me, sometimes applause is all you (the audience) need to bring to the show.
