Scanned Slides, Part 2 - sorry, no fancy writing

It is time for series two of the scanned slides. Series one, and the accompanying essay, can be viewed here:
    Introspective, Retrospective, Scanned Slides

I must apologize, but I currently cannot do any fancy writing to supplement these images. Reason one, I am very busy, reason two, I am very tired right now. But, I need to post these images so that I do not fall (further) behind on things.

As mentioned in thread 1, these are not meant to be masterpieces. They were speed edited in LR simply to improve the appearance of the scanned slide image.

Series two of the scanned slides from my teenage years, is:

Aaahh, a tent under the stars! That looks like my kind of place.
Do you still live near these waterfalls? It would be fun to go back and photograph now that you are more experienced. Although it looks like you were already pretty. Good as a t even!
I traded my tent for a 40' Rv which is now my full time house, but We still love the woods and the SARS.

Thanks, Nancy. Those waterfalls are not too far away (a bit over an hour drive), but they are more of a hike than I am capable of doing now, especially while carrying equipment. If I had more time to get out and hike (but I don't), I could get back in shape and do it.

I shouldn't tell you, but the tent pic was actually taken in my parents backyard! Lower left through the trees you can see a hard diagonal line which was our neighbor's shed. This goes back to the whole thing I wrote about the other day; about how in those days it was exciting and fun just to do simple things. Although I want to be serious about my nature photography goals, I am still going to do my best to keep that sense of excitement and wonder at the simple things. That is one of the ways that I can stay connected to the passion, and why I am doing it.
