    Catalina,

It's worthy as a learning tool. Which colors appeal most to you and is there a way for you to emphasize them more? Did you set your camera's white balance to help capture the light of day, I'm assuming it was cloudy? I see potential in the image but not sure if you've captured enough of your subject here. I see more interest in the left background, the pool of water or the house that could have been accentuated, however I also see nice patches of sunlit greenery which is probably what really caught your eye.

    Hi Catalina,

To Manual Focus your camera is easy. Look in the viewfinder and turn the focus ring on the lens. You should see how some objects are more “hazy” than others. Keep turning the focus ring either clockwise or counter clockwise until you get the subject, you want attention drawn to, in focus. The smaller the aperture the more of the subject will be in focus.
Avoid handheld shots with a shutter speed slower than 1/125sec.
