Re: Pelicans
Amazing photos! I tried pelicans a few weeks ago, boy they were tough to get a good shot of when they are diving. I never realized they went into the water from such different 'body' postures!
These are all excellent! Hope to get 1 someday as good.

Re: Pelicans
I have not seen a pose like that as in the last shot! They are good but that last one is my favourite from that series.

Re: Pelicans
Incredible captures. Gorgeous detail and light. I hope one day to capture the dive, until then keep them coming!

Re: Pelicans
These are wonderful, Roger. I especially like #1 & #4. The unusual pose and the sharpness of #1 really make it. The last one is just great timing!

Re: Pelicans
Thank you everyone for the complements! I was pretty happy with the dive shot it's so hard to capture even with seven frames per second you can be out of sync with the timing or the cameras buffer will fill up if you start too soon. Also if you notice there are cranes in the background on some shots and for some reason the camera looses focus when they pass in front of them which is right before they hit the water. It's frustrating but fun and sometimes works. Thanks again.
