    Nice variation Radu. :-)
I think at my picture I should lighten up the fourgraound a liitle.

He, now I see the eyes behind it also. Very nice indeed Radu!

    Hi Radu Dinu,

I really like what you have achieved with the greens and reds - I wouldn't have thought it possible.

I'm just not sure about the new colour on the right though

    Cheers,

    Cheers,
That kind of orange-yellow was not too good.I was playing with complementary of red to show what that means. Then I wanted to show what colour in colour means but I was hungry and then I forgot what I wanted.

Hi Hans: To to tell you the truth, I really like the soft muted colours of the original. As you said, maybe a little lighter in the foreground, but otherwise, I would leave as is. It's a nice look - to my eyes anyway.

I get the first one. There is a subtlety there that is completely lost in the other variants. The challenge would be to retain that delicate colouring and translucence and yet raise the exposure of the foreground.

I agree with Steve. I saw your first post yesterday, but didn't have time to reply. At that time I thought is was a very nice image. I still do and that none of the others subsequently posted match it for quality.

    Thanks all for the feedback.
I just wanted to show the starting point picture.

I tweaked a little to lighten the foreground and a little more contrast.
    What about this one?

Hi Hansm...I too prefer the muted colors of your initial post. Nothing wrong with the bright colors also posted but the soothing feel of the soft colors is a nice change from the bold colors we see so often.

    What about this one?
Hi Hans: I lined up this shot with the first one so I could view them side by side, and I have to say it is very close, but I think you got it right the very first time. The darker shadows in your original post give a little depth and I like it the best.

    Re: a bunch of tulips

Some where between #1 and #6 for me, with the leaves and left hand blooms about the brightness and saturation that Radu Dinu had in post #2.

Sorry, but #6 (to me) is way over-saturated, while #1 and #10 just look too dull and desaturated.

    Re: a bunch of tulips

    Hi Dave,

I think there is something wrong with the files I posted on the net.
On my monitor when opened in PP they look not oversaturated.
Probably I forgot to save them in sRGB.
I will look at it later.
About the other two, I'm also not convinced about the end result.
Somehow a little more contrast could be better but from the other hand I like the colours as they are.
I will continue working on it and post some results

    Thanks all for the C & C
