Humayun Tomb - Ground Level View

Hi, going forward on my photography venture I stopped and clicked another shot. Can you please review it and let me know what exactly is missing for it to make it much better?

It is a Ground Level View of Humayun Tomb, New Delhi. I tried to use grass and branch as a leading element for Humayun Tomb. I'm not sure if i'm successful with using grass and branch as leading element.

Please share your views if grass and branch is acting just as a foreground or it is acting as a leading element too and how i can make it better.

I find the foreground, especially the branch, to much of a distraction from your main subject.
Hope this is of some assistance.

On first look my eye is drawn to the branch, then the rogue blade of grass then the tomb. Do you have another shot without the branch and blade of grass so as to compare?

Gorgeous light and perspective!

For me, the bright light in the grass acts sufficiently as a leading line by itself. The branch and tall blade of grass are a distraction.

Even so, the perspective is so interesting that the image needs no leading lines. As for overall composition, I'd like to see a little more space on the right side of the building and a little less of the trees on the left side.

If possible, I'd go a little lower in perspective. I'm sure the one dry root will have been trampled by the time you get back, but if shot at that level it would give more depth to the scene.

Thanks for your suggestion The grass was very small in size and my camera was there on the ground and composed the shot using live view. Will surely try to find more bigger grass and will remove my lens hood too to go more low. Here is the actual SOOC shot (Raw converted to JPEG) at F22.

If your camera has an electronic level, you'll be able to use that to great effect especially in this situation.

Thanks for such valuable suggestion. This is exactly what i forgot to use here, and will make sure i will use electronic level for my next shoot. Yup, my camera has electronic level for horizontal and vertical both.
