They look good, especially the second one. The first one is just on the edge of being to bright.
I will show them to my girlfriend :)

A bonus picture of a moose me and my girlfriend almost ran over on the way home from the stable. It was kind of funny because both of us just sat there for a few seconds before i realized i now owned a camera so then i desperatly grabbed for my camera in the back and flung myself out of the window of the car and started shooting like crazy.

Hi Alex: I see Mans is still in good form. :)
I like the first shot. The barn makes a nice backdrop, too bad the light was not just a bit better.
I like the unorthodox crop in #3 also. You should check the book "Equus" by Robert Vavra. I don't know if it is something that you would want to purchase (although your girlfriend may like it) but you should see if you can find it at the library. He has some very unique horse shots that you might enjoy looking at. You have lots of good subjects and when the summer gets here, I'm sure you will have lots of opportunities to try out some of the techniques.
Give Mans a carrot for me, and keep up the good work with the photos. The moose is great. I didn't know you had them there. Sounds like Canada. :)
