    1940's photo shoot

People are not my thing, but for 2014 I want to get better. So I had an opportunity to work with a lovely girl who did a wonderful job at pulling off a classic look. We shot at a local transportation museum and had borrowed a faux fur coat and old luggage bag to complete the look. C&C welcome.

For this one I went with a little grain and added a little blue to the shadows to try to give it an older look.

She had a beautiful smile. This was one of the rare times that she was not smiling.

Very nice. You should add more people to your mix.

Lovely. You did a beautiful job with focus, DoF, composition, color and processing. These images really evoke the era. And your model is stunning, stunning, stunning.

    John, John, Marie,

Thanks so much. I really enjoyed the shot and lucked into many keepers. Still more practice needed so I can get it right most of the time.

I noticed her in photos posted before and then lucked into a chance to shoot with her at a workshop from a local camera store. The class was an intro class, but I wasn't so much interested in understanding aperture as getting as many shot as I could.

With the period look of this model, Bryan, I sure wouldn't miss the chance to see how they would play with a B&W conversion.

    Very nice.
