Help on acheiving a similar soft focus effect
Hi guys/gals,
I posted a question sometime last week on what different 'types' of post processing effects there were. Instead, I should of asked a more particular question on what I was looking for
The image I included is rather unique to me and I was wondering if anyone had ideas on how to achieve a similar look and feel. Looking at the histogram it shows the majority of the information in the mid tones. That part I understand (although I still have much to learn); however, it also has a softer feel to it.
If I were to guess maybe it has a slight blur added and mixed with the saturation a similar effect is achieved. I have played around with many images I have, but am struggling.
I am not a photographer (although I enjoy learning the process) so setting up an environment to capture a shot is something I can not do. Everything has to be done in a post processing environment, which for me is Photoshop.
If anyone has any insight it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks again for everyone's help!
If the Image is too small they can also be viewed here:
