    My little red wagon...

Litter of 9-week old cookie-cutter puppies. They all look similar. I tell the images apart by their neckwear! Their mom is a Maltese-Poodle and their dad is... Well your guess is as good as mine!

They are changing color... From a very light beige to a white. Now, the ends of the coat still have the tan look while the hair below that is white. Some of the pups are more advanced in the color change. Mom is a beautiful pure white...

We received the mom and her five pups from the shelter. They were a muddy gray-brown color. But, that was due to dirt and grime, not their coat color.

    They were soon cleaned up.

They are all beautiful Richard. Can I have Jacques and Pierre? Even Mom is pretty with all her dirt and mud. But then mud and all, I love doggies. They are one of the reasons I stay home. I asked DH to put a doggie door at the garden room, but I think he enjoys being their butler...

    Izzie...
A doggie door would make it easier for us to house train our rescues. However, we have a fenced acre and a quarter and we want to ensure that we know which dogs are outside. Knowing if a dog or dogs are outside or in the house is easy with one or two dogs but, we often have between 15 and 20 dogs as fosters.

15 or 20? -- that will be fun. And I thought 3 is a full-time job...now I will remember you when I try to run after mine with a hairdryer again...

    Totally off the subject...

We have found a wonderful product that helps us keep our sanity, especially at feeding time and when peple come to the door. With the numbers of dogs we cycle through our home as fosters, there are always some who are annoying barkers...
The PetCorrector is a can of compressed air that emits a hissing sound that immediately (along with the no bark command) stops the pooches from barking. The amazing thing is that this correction lasts. We previously used an empty Coke can with a few coins inside. Shaking the can would stop the behaviors but, the correction would not last...
I have not tried a plain commercial can of compressed air. That could very well work...
