Unnerving Beauty

Hi, going forward on my photography venture I stopped and clicked another shot. Can you please review it and let me know what exactly is missing for it to make it much better?

I took this shot in a garden and could not take my camera more near to the flowers because of the barrier.

With the composition i tried to use flower flocks as counter elements and used the off center path behind green leaves in the center to draw attention from left to the right of the image and used sun beam to hold viewer's eye on the flower flocks.

I tried my best to get a little complex composition from a cluttered scene. I'm not sure how successful i'm with the composition.

With the post processing, I have played with the contrast and shadows to add drama in the image

Please share your views about the composition and post processing of the image.

1st, I like what you're doing. But IMHO, you've pushed the dynamic range too far in that you seem to have clipped whites and blacks.

thank you for your review & feedback. Yes, it was a deliberate attempt to push the dynamic range, specially with the shadows. M sure not if this is the right thing to do?

Thank you for your review on that day i was chasing sun beams only, managed to capture 4-5 good beams shots which i already processed for the review and posted on CIC. On that day i have learnt that even a single inch camera movement can result in change in the beams. Here is another test shot which i took with 11mm. (Current shot was with 15mm). You can make that out from the railings, i cant move into the scene physically and i took my camera into the scene only using live view as i have to stretch my hands to get camera near that flower flock.
