    Waves

Here are a group of different wave shots please give some C&C as to which ones work for you or how to make better in the future. The small wave shots are achieved by getting as close to the breaking wave as possible and jerking the camera out of the way as it's breaking due to no waterproof housing (scary).

Roger - the sea is my favourite environment and I love to see such as #1 as they do convey the power of it; normally that would be my #1 pick out of your selection but I have a small suggestion for #5 - if you were to crop off all the 'blue' water and the white overfall, then you'd then have an an unusual, and to me, very interesting image, especially as there are shapes within the wall of water which could equally be fish or reflected images of the seabed.

I really like 1, 4, 5, and 6. A bit wider on 1 to include more of the spray at top would be even better unless there was something distracting up there. The background elements in 2 and 3 are distractions from the excellent detail on the waves. Color, silhouette and wave detail all work harmoniously on 4. Nice set of images. Well done.

    Re: Waves

    Very impressive indeed.
At the risk of sounding like a "sheeple".... Number 4 is the outstanding one of the series, for me.
More than anything else, I envy your experience in getting these wonderful captures!

I agree but that's all there was, nothing was cropped off of the top. I had my 70-200mm lens on and could have shot it wider but you never know how big the splash is going to be. Thanks for the reply.
