Abraham Lake, Cline River - Alberta.
Taken from a helicopter after a visit to the ice fields. Quality has suffered slightly from shooting through the canopy.

This view is awesome, John...this is not really B/W, is it? I noticed a little yellowing at the top...How big was he chopper? Did you have a camera mount?

Gorgeous composition, exposure and tinting. Well done!
If you're compelled to use a frame, try using a color that is predominant in the image. The current color of the frame doesn't work for me.

Yes indeed. That's one to feel good about.

A very nice image, John. I was just wondering what it looked like in colour?

Re: Abraham Lake, Cline River - Alberta.
Thanks all for your great comments.
Isabel, can't see the yellow spot but the image overall has been sepia toned. The helicopters were quite small (see below - someone will identify the type I'm sure), just four seats but I managed to sit next to the pilot and had a forward view. Camera hand held though.
Mike, I do like to present images as well as I can i.e. in some form of a frame but you're right, this one isn't the best. Only excuse is that the sepia toning was a last minute thought and as a result, I ended up toning the frame as well - pure idleness.
Manfred, the colour version is below. I just thought that it suited a mono treatment.
