I understand there there are lots of mistakes that I have committed. But I like this photo better because it is with better foreground.

It is a nice photo and has a nice sense of depth. Although the foreground begins and ends abruptly the sharpness of the greenery against the hazy mountain creates a perception of dizzying heights. A bit more contrast in the clouds, not a lot, would really add to the image.

SHadowman, so do you think that without the flowers on the foreground the photo would have been better?

Shadowman: How do you add contrast to the clouds if I do not know post-processing?

Which editing program are you using?

I decreased the highlights and increased the contrast a bit using Photoshop Elements.

    Hi Catalina,

I like it, you have chosen a good scene and the foreground enhances it. With respect to composition the tree on the right looks a bit awkward, it may have been better to include more of it or it could simply be cropped out, very a minor point.

The three white clouds above the hill/mountain are extremely overexposed and this can be seen in the histogram which is pushed up well to the right. Unfortunately, the detail has been lost in them and can not be recovered in post processing. Did you check the histogram after taking the shot?

Pictures such as this always look good with nice sharp detail in the foreground that help to give the scene depth. Well done !

You had a good day for shooting this and you did a good job. Keep at it.

I like your image but would like some of the sky at the top cropped out. Say, a little above the top of the clouds.
