    Fine Art Prints

What is the industry standard for fine art prints for sale? Do you print a limited edition of 50?

I've seen limited editions ranging from 25 to hundreds. It's not unusual that the price increases as the number of unsold prints gets smaller and smaller. However, Carolyn Guild's web site provides incremental change in pricing from the outset for everything except the last five prints. The cost of those prints is apparently determined once they are the only remaining prints.

    Louise,

Although a different medium (these are for paintings), I am just as interested as this field was my first introduction to artistic expression.

    Thank you for the link.
