    The grass is greener ........

In paddock opposite to our drive there are a couple of pampered horses. They seem to get dressed in the height of equestrian fashion.
Still at least one knows the grass is greener on the other side of the fence.

    The grass is greener ........

    The grass is greener ........

It has long white eyelashes that look a bit like a strange catch-light across the top of the eyes so I apologise but it is not really my fault.

Good and sharp. I like the last one showing its eyelashes. The short reminds me of my little blue heeler who has white eyelashes. I've always wanted to take her photograph t show her eyes but I do not know how to...Thanks for sharing.

The sky was very cloudy and getting ready to rain which is probably why the horse had a cover on it but it also meant the lighting was very flat and boring. I always like at least a hint of catch light in eyes to give a bit of life but there were none. I think you just have to do a close up portrait when there are light eyelashes because from a distance they can look odd.

Good luck photographing the blue heeler - did you move it from Australia?

Thanks John, I am very happy with nice. The photographs were more for general interest rather than seeking accolades of artistic brilliance......
