how do I spotlight 4 different areas in the same shot

This spider has a body about as big as an average thumb and legs that stretch 9 or so inches tip to tip. Plus he or she has a nasty bite/sting. Moving is not an option. I had to stand on a stool to get close enough to take this shot. I am trying to find a way to highlight the 4 Bees he has wrapped up for a midnight snack. I tried spot sharpening bu it was only so-so. I also could not think of a way to dampen down the background without loosing the food bundles.

Let me see if I have this right...you want to isolate a spider and prey in deep foliage and contrasted light.
Without severe Photoshop work...it can't be done.

If your camera were capable you could superimpose the food bundles onto the shot with the monster spider. Otherwise, as Chauncey says, Photoshop.

ok I would reshoot, But first I would have my assistant hold a white background between my subject and that foliage.

when we lived in a bamboo house we slept under a mosquito net. we now sleep in a cement house with screens so after a final cup of coffee it is easy.

I would have thought that S.A. had as many and as beautiful ionsects as the Philippines.
