Good pics Steve,
I'd be pleased to have taken them.
Where are you?
I don't think we get those nice colourful red thingies here
What are they?
Thanks,
If I had to pick a favorite it would be #3, but all are winners in my book. I don't know how you manage to get the chickadees to sit still long enough for such a clear shot, but great work. The cardinals are both excellent also, but #3 because of the pose and fluffed up feathers.
I'd love to be able to get shots like this.

Thanks dave, i'm in West Virginia. The red birds are male cardinals.
Thanks Wendy, I like the 3rd one also.
There was about 15 or 20 of them feeding at the neighbors bird feeder. There is a ton of snow here and they don't have anything else to eat. I tucked myself in tight to some pine trees and waited a few min and they all came back to the tree about 30 feet away. Just a matter of waiting for one to isolate itself from the branches. The chickadee must have been curious what i was, because it flew out and landed right in front of me several times. Those little suckers are very quick, and so dang small you have to be close to get a good shot. May have to set up a ground blind and get real close.
Keep the bird shots coming, Steve. You seem to have a knack for it.
