    Wonky

OK folks I have a photo displayed below which I really love - except when you level the pitch the top of the fence goes wonky and when you level the top of the fence the pitch goes wonky......help, it is driving me crazy. The problem is that the Lacrosse sticks are so close to the top of the fence that a crop is impossible.....over to you

    Hmm. That was easy...

It looks like lacrosse is not a contact sport in your part of the world. I remember the men wear some pretty serious protective gear; I haven't played it since gym class in my high school days.

Manfred's comment was appropriate. Otherwise the posts should be vertical (posts are vertical from any angle) - when shooting obliquely (not perpendicular) to an object such as a fence or wall, the perspective will always be a problem.

    Great action image.

Yes it turned into a completely different game when they started using those rubber balls instead of the traditional rocks.

Nice image, we need an increase in sports imagery to keep us warm for the next few months.

Nah - that was just the Iroquois kids practising. The grown-ups used a shrunken head.

I used to play the men's game. I stopped twenty five years ago, and I think the bruises have finally healed.

I guess games where several of the players got killed during a match are no longer socially acceptable...

They're still socially acceptable. The problem is the fear of running out of players.

    Great action shot Joanne.

Manfred you've done a good job with the manipulation. However I have to say you are a brave man - using a skew function on an image containing the rear view of two young ladies is a very risky business.

    Re: Wonky

Fortunately, all I did was to raise the left corner of the image vertically. Any effect of the manipulation (if noticable at all) would have had a slight slimming effect, so I figured I was safe.

    Re: Wonky

By layering each of the two images, with changing the origional to B&W, and reducing the opacity of the second, I can confirm that there was minimal effect on the two posteriors.
