    I have another use for a microwave, I put a bowl which I had turned which had a bit of borer, plus a glass of water, and gave it a minute at 100%. Curtains to all the borer

    And another use I have seen for old microwaves is to use them as letterboxes. Next time I see one stuck on a post at the entrance to a farm I promise to stop and take a photo of it including the delivered mail...

    I have a good friend who put her child's socks in the microwave to dry them. Minutes later she noticed an awful smell resembling burned popcorn. Yes, she had burned the socks. My Christmas present for her that year was a pair of replacement socks. I added a tag to them saying, "Do not put in a microwave oven."
