hi all..2 more macro images.. not my best... but thought i'd put em up cos its my first Mantis that isnt green?!?>

This wasnt a very big one..so used some ext tubes ontop of macro lens to try get in a bit more

Thank you Sharon, Thanks Nandakumar, You know..i swear the Mantis loves the flash, its like it was almost posing for me, i have one where his got his back leg in his mouth..looks like he's playing the flute or something. They definitely do follow you though. I moved a few times and he turned to face me.

I've never seen one like that. I would like to have seen him full body without the extra magnification.
