    I like it very much Jeff,isn't it possible to take the writing at the bottom off because it really spoils the beautiy.

    Lovely shot, great composition. The trees and your use of shadows both add to the impact and serve to frame and separate the bucolic from the mountainous portions. Totally works for me.

    Very effective: Crisp, winter light effect, sharp. I like the overall sense of space.

    It would be interesting to see a composition with the complete barn and foreground tree. Even if just for comparison purposes to see if it makes any difference to the overall appeal of the image. This composition is strong as is, the cut off tree and barn are not a problem. When i am shooting these things I often wonder if my anal compulsion to always ensure none of the building is cut off is a weakness or a strength.
