    I like this philosophy and we have a few good Vineyards down here, Barossa valley, Penfolds and MccLaren Vale etc

    You've hit the nail on the head there. I was avoiding the laboratory look on this shot. There are nothing wrong with those documentary type of shots. In fact I'm often in awe of how they were captured but I think they are better suited to a lab rather than a house wall. Besides, I think a limb hanging oddly here and there does add character and make the image less clinical. In this case, as its reputation precedes it, I wanted the spider has more of a "Woodstock" character than a "Tarantula"

    That is excellent; ...and i really liked the color patches in the b/g. for me it synergistic effect on the spider
