Same here, John...The clouds looks good but it is only a part of the small scene...The ship and dock dominates the whole picture. Do you have a bigger picture? I am sure we can find some faults in it to comment or some better things to comment on...

How about posting at 1000 to 1200 px wide, I'd love to see more of this image as I like both boats and clouds.

Welcome to CIC,I hope you will like and stay with us:-)I agree with John and Isabel,may be you took the photo because of the clouds but clouds don't seem to be the main subject.I would actually crop it a little bit from left side because blank sea doesn't mean much to me in this composition.It is a very small size photo,a bigger one would help more to make comments.

The only reason I took this shot is because of the clouds. If those small puffy clouds weren't there, I've probably would have never taken the shot! Bigger Pic

Did you do any post processing to the image? I can see where the reflected light underneath the clouds is a bit darker than the water, however the overall colors are cooler than those on the ship and this makes the ship seem more prominent,

As others have stated, you could add more contrast to the clouds but I think it looks good as is.

Actually your shot looks much nicer with a bigger size:-) I would still crop just a little bit from the left side without losing the small cloud,I don't know if you would like to give it a go or not..Just an opinion:-)

Your correct on this. It does look better. I cropped the image over on flickr & looked at it and said, yes it does look better. Thanks
