    Reprocessed Great Wall

It is enjoyable to revisit locations vicariously when I am reprocessing old images with enjoyable memories attached. I can remember how cold I was wearing a short sleeve shirt and photo vest with the cold wind blowing in from the Mongolian plains

Here is one of China's Great Wall that I reprocessed using NIK Silver Efex Pro II

Much better to take the photo of the people climbing all those steps than to climb them yourself.

Actually, I did not do a lot of climbing on the wall. The steps are pretty uneven and worn with age and so are my joints. I saw several people slip and fall climbing up or down the wall and did not want to be part of that grouping...

However, I found the steps of the great wall less chancy than those of the City Walls of Dubrovnik, Croatia. I climbed to the top of the wall in 100 F. heat and thought to myself, what the heck is a 73 year old guy doing up here?

    Reprocessed Great Wall

I wonder though if the steps of the Dubrovnik Walls seemed more steep because I was 73 when I climbed them while I was only 70-years old when I traveled to China. At my age, I can readily see differences between a couple of years in age...
