If memory serves me, Indigo Lake Train Station is in Cuyohoga Falls, which is in northern Ohio, sooo...
Where's the snow...I know you've got some. Aside from that, you have a great image, well worth framing.
Ya might consider cloning the branches intruding on the station.
PS, Rust on rails indicates not a lot of use.
An easy image on the eyes with a great composition guys. The one thing that grabs my attention is the brightness of the lake. It seems to be just a shade out of character for the rest of the scene.
Very nice image, but I would consider a tighter crop--taking off some sky, a very small amount on the left, and a tiny amount on the bottom, like this. Sorry, I can't get the thumbnail larger, but if you click on the image, it will enlarge.
@Chauncey, it was indeed taken in Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The image was taken on an extremely cold day, well after most of our recent snowfall had melted. I'm going to go back and retake the image but first cut down that branch that is protruding. I'm going to have to carry a pair of small branch trimmers in my camera bag from now on.
@FrankMI, the whiteness of the lake stands out because it is slightly snow covered and completely iced over. It was one of the main reasons I wanted to capture the image with the lake in the background.
@DanK, thanks for the suggestion and providing me with a tighter crop. Karm did create another version of the image with a tighter crop, but I honestly liked the "XR" sign on the left, but I agree with you on cutting out a bit of the sky.
