I skimmed/read portions of that pdf today. Mostly the first half, key portions most relevant to photography blinds, locations, tips etc. I briefly skimmed the remainder of the doc where it covered all of the case studies. A LOT of great information, ideas, etc in that pdf. I recommend it!
There are numerous ready-made blinds that are designed for hunters but could easily be used by photographers. Here are some examples from Walmart. There is one which at $50 USD seems pretty inexpensive.
