    Experimenting with my photo lightbox. Sat the lightbox under a window with natural snow light coming through.

    Gorgeous, diffuse lighting well composed! I prefer the exposure on the first one but both images would give you good reason to create a body of work in this stye.

    Travis, both are nice but I find the composition of the first to be more open and flowing. The second feels a bit 'tight' to me. Like Mike I could imagine a series of botanical images done in this style.

    Thanks for the comments my friends. Snowed in here in jersey today and had time this morning to try this new (for me) lighting technique. The combination of the backlight of the lightbox and the soft light from the window really made for a nice setup. Usually I have trouble keeping an evenly toned background on these types of shots. Needed very little pp in Lightroom
