    Synchronized Swans

I found this pair of swans in a pond behind one of the stores I service...just liked how they were in tune with each other.

    ...and then there was one.
    4.Synchronized Swans

One of these days I will have to try birds in flight, although today they were just swimming around...or taking a nap.

These are nice pictures of swans but what makes them special to me are the texture and patterns of the water.

I most like #2 and #3 Jon,I think swans like swimmimg in harmony, whenever I see pictures of two swans, they are usually like copies of each other

Excellent series.... I feel the fourth image would look better if the white of the other bird is converted into a framing circular border around the bird we see...

Your title nailed it. The second shot is awesome. Swans have always been confounding subjects for me. They look so beautiful but it isn't easy to capture interesting shots of them. They seem to "just keep swimming, just keep swimming...."

Thank you all for your comments. I am kinda feeling like #3 needs slightly more room to the right, in the direction the swans are looking. Thoughts???
