Hi Antonio,

I find this image strangely fascinating.

It sort of seems/feels upside down (to me) because the highest contrast bits are at the top of frame with a pale lower half.

And while there's nothing to look at, meaning no obvious subject*, there is everything to look at, if you know what I mean.

* ok; apart from the big tree in the foreground

I like the colours, saturation and white balance (etc.)

It is a very lovely image and it does indeed have a "prehistoric" look to it. I like the overall feel of the image, I don't know if it's PP or just the lighting in the scene, but it is very pleasing. IMHO, I think the image would be much stronger by cropping off the left ⅓, just to the left of the sunliit V-shaped branch. To my eyes, there's too much clutter and not much of interest left of the V-shaped branch and the sunlit moss (?) on the branch is very interesting, but my eyes get pulled away towards the left.

Excuse me but I can't understand the area you are suggesting to be cloned. Sorry.
Anyway my crops are always 30/50 on landscapes and 30/40 on portraits, apart from the squares.

To my eye, it is quite pleasing.

One thing to think about in cropping the left 1/3 off: you would lose the woman leaning out from behind that leftmost tree.

If you look carefully you will see that by the corners, mainly on the bottom left, there are areas of softness.
The photo was shot with a Canon 5D and the Canon 16-35 f/2.8 L lens and I have always seen this phenomena at the corners of this lens.
It's a bit like that there is some water over the area... It was shot at 24mm.
I have other pictures where this lens makes the same error, mainly when the images are vertical.
