To preface my remarks...great detail and PP on the birds themselves.
When you say that you've worked on them...what do you mean?
The Heron and Phoebe could use a little more space on the left, Heron's background is cluttered around the head and the Blackbird needs to have the extraneous branch removed. All that is pure nitpick.
Nicely presented.
Hi Joe,are those real colours in #1? Just beautiful I have a question about shooting birds. If the bird is so small like #2 or #3,do you still have to focus on the eyes or is it just enough to focus on a part of the body?
Outstanding, simply ....
Was starting to miss your shots, Joe!
Very nice trio, specially #3. Superb details and composition. Not sure, Joe, but it looks like some marks of background editions were left on the lower right third of the image #2. If I am right, you might want to brush them.
Very nice shots and thanks for sharing! Cheers,
All three are excellent, Joe. But the tri-color is REALLY nice. I like the inclusion of the moss and branches that sets the habitat. And the techs are well done as always. Nice job.
Another very good set Joe, up there to your usual high standard. The backgrounds for these shots work very well and of course the birds are nice and sharp.

All the above . I really like the phoebe, there is something about the perch in that shot that I like.
My first thought was 'picture perfect' and I think I'll stick with that!
Joe, I like them all. I think the first one is spectacular and the third is creative with the bend in the branch.

Beauty, beauty and beauty. What more to say?
The excellence continues. Nice series Joe. I was wondering where you were.
Love #1 & #3 outstanding.
Hello Chauncey, thank you for viewing and commenting. When I say I worked on them I mean all of my images are works in progress. I revisit them from time to time as I learn more and become better at post processing. Wonders if the extraneous branch in the Blackbird is the one with flower buds on it?
Hello Binnur, thank you for viewing and commenting. Regarding your question about focusing on the eyes on small birds, first a small bird would have to be within 10-15 feet before I would consider capturing the image. At that distance I would focus on the head, get the head in sharp focus and the eye is in sharp focus.
