Things you miss at the time

I often find things during post processing that I missed while I was shooting. I really wish I paid more attention.

This was taken from our balcony in Orlando FL. I kind of liked the reflection of our hotel and the way it seemed to be breaking up on the edges while the center seemed reasonable.



I cropped in to eliminate some of the extraneous detail to put attention on the reflection and ended up with this.



but, while I was looking at it I discovered another nice pattern shot that I hadn't noticed at all.,



Had I been paying attention, I could have gotten a couple more flights of steps and made more of an effort to get the exposure right in that section.

Not as bad as some misses I've heard about (just Google "Reflection Fail")!
